We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate bilingual Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner at the front desk
- Schedule appointments and manage patient check-ins and check-outs
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accordingly
- Assist with data entry using electronic health record systems such as OscarPro
- Collect patient payments and process billing as needed
- Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and administrative documents
- Support clinical staff with administrative tasks to ensure seamless patient care delivery
- Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations and office policies
Skills
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as OscarPro
- Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to healthcare settings
- Experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a Medical Office environment preferred
- Previous Medical Office or Front Desk experience required
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems effectively
- Familiarity with office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Knowledge of healthcare administrative procedures and insurance processes is a plus
Pay: $18.00 per hour
