Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. This role involves working on various landscaping projects, ensuring the health and aesthetics of gardens, lawns, and other landscape features. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical aptitude, and be eager to learn new skills in landscape maintenance and construction.
Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems
- Perform gardening activities like planting, watering, fertilizing, and pruning
- Conduct routine inspections of irrigation systems and perform minor repairs as needed
- Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized throughout projects
Experience
- Prior experience with landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not required;
- Familiarity with gardening practices, landscape maintenance, or construction is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems is advantageous but not required
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a professional setting is desirable
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions is essential
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards
