Kruse Glass is a leading commercial glazing contractor specializing in high-quality curtain walls, storefronts, skylights, and interior glass systems. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you will be the operational backbone of our project management team. You will bridge the gap between our estimators, field superintendents, suppliers, and general contractors to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
● Document Control: Manage, track, and distribute all project documentation, including
Requests for Information (RFIs), Submittals, Change Orders, and transmittals.
● Drawing Management: Review, process, and track architectural shop drawings,
ensuring field teams always have the most current revisions.
● Material Coordination: Assist in purchasing and tracking project materials (glass,
aluminum framing, hardware, sealants). Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers
and site superintendents to prevent delays.
● Schedule Tracking: Work closely with the Project Manager to update project schedules,
track milestones, and forecast potential timeline conflicts.
● Communication Hub: Serve as a primary point of contact for General Contractors,
architects, and internal teams regarding project updates, meetings, and daily
coordination.
● Closeout: Compile Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, warranties, and
as-built drawings for final project handover.
Qualifications
● Experience: 1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination or
administration. Experience specifically in commercial glazing, building envelopes, or
facades is highly preferred.
● Technical Literacy: Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and structural
blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
● Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of construction management software
(e.g., Procore, Fenvision, Autocad) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
● Core Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to
juggle multiple projects at varying stages simultaneously.
● Communication: Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills. You must be
comfortable addressing issues directly with vendors and site teams.
