Renovation Designer & Sales Consultant

My Home Handyman(soon to be Tru Trades) is one of Calgary's fastest-growing renovation companies, and we're looking for an experienced Renovation Designer & Sales Consultant to help homeowners transform their kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.
This is more than a design position. You'll meet with clients in their homes, listen to their ideas, develop creative and functional renovation concepts, prepare accurate estimates, and guide them confidently from the initial consultation to a signed project.

What You'll Do
- Meet with homeowners to understand their vision, needs, and budget.
- Design beautiful, functional kitchens, bathrooms, and basement renovations.
- Prepare detailed renovation estimates and proposals.
- Present concepts and pricing with confidence.
- Help clients choose layouts, finishes, cabinetry, flooring, fixtures, and materials.
- Create accurate scopes of work for production.
- Work closely with our project management team to ensure a seamless transition from sale to construction.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire design and sales process.
What We're Looking For
- Experience designing residential renovations.
- Strong knowledge of renovation construction methods.
- Experience estimating renovation projects.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to confidently present and sell renovation solutions.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Bonus Skills
These qualifications are considered strong assets:
- SketchUp
- AutoCAD
- Chief Architect
- Interior Design education
- Residential construction experience
- Knowledge of Alberta building practices and building codes
