Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented MARKETING & EVENT ASSISTANT to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on, support-focused role suited to a student or early-career professional looking to gain experience in hospitality, marketing and resort operations. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities:
· Draft and schedule social media posts across resort platforms
· Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns as directed
· Assist in preparing all materials for Trade Shows
· Coordinate the creation of promotional material (digital and print)
· Coordinate basic email marketing communications
· Prepare and update twelve-month Marketing Calendar
· Ensure all brochure stands and menus posted on the Resort are current and full
· Assist with photography and content collection for marketing purposes
· Assist with event setup and coordination when required
· Support food and beverage operations during conferences, group events, or high- occupancy periods
· Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall resort operations
· Ability to work with all other departments and fully understand events happening at the resort at all times.
Qualifications include:
Education:
o Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program (Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Communications or related field preferred)
Specialized Knowledge:
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Comfortable using social media platforms and website editing tools
Experience:
o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
o Customer-service oriented with a professional demeanor
Other:
o Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak season

· This position is in Grand Bend, ON. A successful applicant must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
