Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at a packaging company in Vaughan. The successful candidate must have experience operating Double Deep Reach and Counterbalance forklifts and be comfortable performing general warehouse duties when required.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Double Deep Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
- Move, stack, retrieve, and store pallets in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform put-away, replenishment, and order picking using warehouse racking systems.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with general labour and other warehouse duties as required.
- Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating Double Deep Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Experience working in a warehouse or packaging environment is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform general warehouse duties.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work the 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. shift.
