Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair. Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on automobiles using hand tools, power tools, computers.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as tire changes, oil changes, brake repairs, exhaust repair and replacment, vehicle alignment, and suspension replacement.
- Utilize welding skills for metal repairs or fabrication when necessary.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and offering maintenance advice.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic with dealership or industrial experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems is essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.
- Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively. This position requires a motivated individual committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in automotive repair and industrial maintenance tasks.
Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour
