The Colour Shoppe is an independent Paint Store locally owned & operated since 1975. For over 50 years, we have supported our community by providing quality Canadian products, expert advice, carry-out service, and friendly customer service. We all live in Brantford and support local businesses...after all, this is our community too!
Sales Associate's Duties:
- Greet Customers
- Ask questions to obtain full scope of Customers' projects
- Discuss types of products explaining features & benefits
- Calculate and/or quote quantities of products and prices
- Provide advice on application of products
- Prepare products for purchase
- Operate computer to bill out orders
- Accept cash, debit, or credit card payments
- Assist in displaying merchandise
- Re-Stock shelves and hooks with merchandise
- General cleaning of products, hooks, shelves, floors, washrooms, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. repeatedly
- Good grasp of basic math skills required (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Accurate typing skills
- Willingness to constantly learn a wide variety of products (including new products)
- HIGH memorization and recall skills
- HIGH attention to detail
- Able to differentiate colours/hues is a MUST! (hence, applying in-person)
Store Hours: Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm, Saturday: 8am-4pm
No evenings or Sundays!
Starting Wage: $20.00 per hour (reviewable after 3 months)
