Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Laborers/Frameworkers/Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction tasks. This role involves working with various concrete materials and techniques to ensure high-quality finishes on a variety of projects. The Concrete Finisher will collaborate with other construction professionals to deliver exceptional results while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning and leveling the area.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools to finish surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even texture.
- Apply sealers, stains, or other finishing products as required.
- Perform concrete forming tasks, including setting up forms and frameworks.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to coordinate work efforts.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for concrete placement and finishing.
- Conduct repairs on existing concrete structures, including restoration work.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with flooring installation techniques is a plus.
- Experience in masonry work is desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license may be required based on job site location.
