Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care, and a strong understanding of plant health and safety practices. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions to maintain and enhance the health and aesthetics of trees and landscapes. The Arborist will be responsible for implementing pruning, planting, and removal techniques while ensuring safety standards are upheld.
Duties
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal using hand tools, power tools, and climbing equipment
- Conduct soil assessments and assist with planting new trees and shrubs
- Operate machinery such as chainsaws for large-scale landscaping or removal projects
- Conduct regular inspections of trees for disease, pests, or structural issues
- Ensure all work areas are kept safe, clean, and organized during daily operations
Requirements
- Knowledge of arboriculture practices including pruning techniques and tree health assessment
- Experience operating , hand tools, power tools
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and repair
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid DZ license preferred for equipment operation and transportation purposes
