Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Use commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and polishers safely and effectively
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to supervisors
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for team success
