Job Summary:
Our client, Allstyle Cabinet Doors is seeking a skilled Painter to join their team. The Painter is responsible for finishing custom and cabinet doors, ensuring high-quality standards in staining, painting, and finishing processes. This role requires precision, efficiency, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications and production schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cabinet doors and other wooden surfaces for painting and finishing by sanding, priming, and sealing.
- Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes according to project requirements.
- Apply paints, stains, and lacquers using Kremlin HVLP spray equipment.
- Ensure consistent quality and smooth finishes, free from drips, bubbles, or imperfections.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols for handling and disposing of materials.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making necessary touch-ups or adjustments.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in wood finishing, cabinetry, or furniture painting.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of wood coatings, stains, and finishing techniques.
- Equipment Proficiency: Experience using spray guns, HVLP systems, and other painting tools.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to achieve a high-quality finish with precision.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift materials, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with other production team members.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and proper handling of chemicals and coatings.
