Climber / Bucket Operator / DZ Driver
We are currently hiring an experienced Climber / Bucket Operator / DZ Driver to join our growing tree service team. We are looking for motivated, dependable, and safety-oriented individuals with experience in arboriculture, tree removals, pruning, rigging, and aerial lift operations.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform technical tree climbing using saddle, ropes, harnesses, and climbing systems
- Execute tree removals, pruning, deadwooding, canopy thinning, crown reduction, and hazard tree work
- Operate bucket trucks, aerial lifts, chippers, stump grinders, chainsaws, loaders, and other arborist equipment
- Safely rig and lower limbs and wood using ropes, blocks, portawraps, and rigging systems
- Drive and operate DZ-class vehicles, including chip trucks and equipment trailers
- Conduct daily circle checks and basic equipment maintenance
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Communicate effectively with crew members and clients
- Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Valid DZ License (required)
- Previous experience in the tree care / arborist industry
- Experience climbing and operating bucket trucks
- Strong knowledge of rigging, pruning cuts, and safe removal techniques
- Ability to identify tree species and assess tree hazards is an asset
- Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding outdoor conditions
- Chainsaw safety and operation experience required
- ISA Arborist certification is considered a strong asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
