Job Description
We are looking to hire an experienced Route Delivery Representative to be responsible for all aspects of product distribution on behalf of Coldhaus Direct Inc. customers. This role supports our delivery team by ensuring timely, accurate delivery of pre-generated orders, maintaining strong customer relationships, and occasionally assisting with in-store display builds to support merchandising needs.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating a Delivery Truck (G or D Class) and handheld invoicing system to load products from the warehouse into the Delivery Truck and deliver packaged beverage products to established accounts
- On-site customer service
- Carrying-out CVOR safety inspections of the delivery vehicle, and correctly loading it with product and point of sale materials
- Perform pre-trip inspections, daily logs and reporting to ensure fleet standards are met
- Managing inventory by keeping accurate records that are reconciled daily
- Recording delivery information, obtaining customers’ signatures, and following all appropriate company policies and procedures
- Maintaining up-to-date brand knowledge
- Travel overnight stays may be required depending on route coverage.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one to three-years’ delivery experience, and Secondary-school education is preferred
- Valid Class G Driver’s License is mandatory, with a minimum three-years’ driving experience and a safe and clean driving record. Class D – DZ License is an asset.
- Must be comfortable with driving larger assets (20ft-26ft trucks)
- Must be able to lift 40lbs on a repetitive basis
- Patience and reliability navigating through traffic and various road conditions
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Self-motivated and action-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic, positive team attitude, and problem identification and resolution skills
- Ability to use handheld devices effectively.
