Job Title: Barista & Chocolate Packaging Assistant

Mink Chocolates is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dual Barista and Packaging role. This position offers a great mix of customer interaction and behind-the-scenes chocolate work — perfect for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in doing things well. This role is part-time/ casual to cover busy periods but also sickness and vacation. We will be looking for full time maternity cover from October (date TBC) and would love to have the same candidate.
What You’ll Do:
As a Barista:
- Prepare and serve espresso drinks, hot chocolates, and other café beverages to Mink’s high standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café space.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service.
As a Packaging Assistant:
- Hand-package chocolate bars, truffles, bonbons, and confectionery with care and accuracy
- Label, box, and organize products for retail and wholesale orders
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the production area
What We’re Looking For:
- Barista experience required — Packaging training provided
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commute daily to 8410 Ontario St, Vancouver
- Able to work on your feet and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, and willingness to learn
