Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Help to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring smooth food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn about the food industry. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
- Help with food handling and storage to maintain proper hygiene and safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Support serving activities by assisting servers as needed during meal service
- Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures diligently
- Assist with meal preparation for different service times, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with kitchen staff and servers
Skills
- Basic understanding of serving and food service operations
- Experience or familiarity with food preparation and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
