We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinic Nurse specialized in Advanced Therapeutic Medications to join our dedicated healthcare team at the Charlton Centre in Kitchener!

Duties
- Administer advanced therapeutic medications, including biologics, biosimilars, other specialty injections, following established protocols and safety standards.
- Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physical examinations relevant to therapeutic interventions.
- Prepare patients for infusion therapies while maintaining aseptic techniques and sterile processing standards.
- Monitor patient responses during and after treatments, managing adverse reactions with prompt intervention.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system Accuro EMR in compliance with privacy standards
- Educate patients on medication administration, post-treatment care, and health coaching strategies to promote adherence and wellness.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license (RN) with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to therapeutic nursing practices.
- Experience in diverse clinical settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics
- Ability to effectively perform venipuncture, IV infusion, phlebotomy, and specimen collection efficiently.
- Critical care experience preferred—especially ICU or trauma center exposure—alongside familiarity with trauma medicine or emergency room protocols.

Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess symptoms, and provide appropriate interventions
- Assist with patient education on medication usage, health maintenance, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure infection control standards are upheld and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Valid nursing license with current registration with the CNO and RNAO
- Experience working with Accuro EMR electronic health records systems preferred.
- Prior hospital experience or acute care background highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
