Key Responsibilities
- System Design & Integration: Design and integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems for [automation systems / robotics / machinery / consumer products].
- Control Systems & PLC Programming: Develop logic, control algorithms, and firmware/PLC programming for electromechanical equipment.
- Prototyping & Testing: Build, test, and validate physical prototypes; perform diagnostic troubleshooting on hardware and software interfaces.
- CAD Modeling & Schematics: Create 3D CAD models, detailed technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, mechanical designers, and production floor teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency and reliability.
Requirements & QualificationsRequired:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in electromechanical design, control systems, or industrial automation.
- CAD Proficiency: Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).
- Programming Skills: Familiarity with programming languages used in controls and automation (e.g., C/C++, Python, PLC Ladder Logic, Structured Text).
- Hardware Knowledge: Hands-on experience with actuators, sensors, microcontrollers (Arduino, STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi), motor drives, and relay logic.
- Troubleshooting: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for physical hardware, circuits, and logic errors.
Preferred / Bonus Skills:
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (CANbus, Modbus, EtherNet/IP).
- Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) or MATLAB/Simulink modeling.
- Knowledge of regulatory/safety standards for machinery (e.g., ISO, CE, UL).
