Snowcrest Foods is a fast growing packing plant specializing in frozen fruits and vegetables packing. We are currently located in Abbotsford, B.C. and are actively seeking Heavy Labourers to join our team.The position is physically demanding and requires you to be on your feet on the go for the whole shift. We are also looking for someone who will be a Sanitation Relief to cover vacations and sick leave.
Duties for Heavy Labor:
- Dumping packed fruit into totes. Dumping requires continuous lifting and dumping out 25lb up to 40lb boxes for fruit into totes.
- Understand and adhere to company SOPs, GMPs and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Being aware of runtimes/goals and report to lead hand when delays are encountered.
- Maintain the tidiness/cleanliness for safe passage through assigned area during work
- Palletize boxes from the production line onto a pallet in a timely manner.
Duties for Sanitation Relief
- Performing daily sanitization of all packaging lines.
- Completing daily sanitation reports.
- Performing routine cleaning tasks in preparation for audits.
Requirements for Sanitation Relief
- Must have sanitation experience.
- In depth knowledge of SQF programs
- Ability to understand company procedures and SOP’s
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to do some lifting up to 20kg
- Ability to be a team player
Pay: $18.48-$23.34 per hour
