About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Inside Sales & Rental Desk Coordinator to join our team full-time. This role is central to our daily operations — you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, manage rental inquiries, process orders, and support the smooth flow of equipment in and out of our yard.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Process rental and sales orders for new and existing clients.
- Provide knowledgeable, friendly, and professional support in person, by phone, and by email.
- Build positive relationships that encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
Rental Desk & Inventory Coordination
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate equipment availability with yard staff and operations teams.
- Ensure all rental agreements, documentation, and safety forms are completed accurately.
Operational Support
- Assist customers with loading and unloading scaffold equipment.
- Monitor equipment condition and report items requiring repair or replacement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
General Duties
- Adhere to and promote company safety policies and procedures.
- Support cross-department communication to ensure seamless operations.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support the team.
What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years of customer service or inside sales experience; experience in construction or equipment rentals is a strong asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, and Quantify (or similar rental management systems).
- Strong data-entry accuracy and comfort working with accounting or inventory software.
- Working knowledge of scaffold or construction equipment (asset).
- Ability to lift and handle items up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/yard environment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with others.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Canadian high school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Mix of office, warehouse, and yard-based tasks.
- Occasional outdoor work when assisting with equipment handling.
- Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM start, 40 hours per week.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Wage: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Semi-annual paid commission
