We are a patient-focused denture clinic dedicated to providing exceptional denture care and customer service. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for our patients.
Position Summary
The Denturist Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, cleaning the office and providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails promptly.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
- Register new patients and maintain accurate patient records.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage billing inquiries.
- Verify insurance information and assist with claim submissions when required.
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate with the denturist regarding schedules and patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Handle confidential patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
Qualifications
- Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or healthcare front desk experience preferred.
- Experience in a dental, denture, or medical office is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and appointment scheduling software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of dental or denture terminology.
- Experience with dental practice management software.
- Basic understanding of insurance billing and claims processing.
- Strong customer service background.
