Job Description:
DKI Regina is seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will respond to emergency situations to mitigate damage and restore properties to their pre-loss condition. Responsibilities include a wide range of roofing and restoration-related tasks such as roof inspections, emergency repairs, temporary tarping, and full roof replacements on residential and commercial properties affected by storm, hail, wind, fire, and other exterior related damages. Hours are weather dependent, but the average is around 40 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Ability to supervise and lead a crew. Conduct various meetings with the crew.
- Follow all general and safety policies, procedures and practices. Experience in roofing and siding.
- Own tools and PPE.
- Safety tickets (CSTS, WHMIS, Fall Protection, Aerial Lift and Fit Testing (if required) - Recertification can/will be provided for hired workers, in the course of employment.
Assets:
- Journeyman Red Seal Preferred.
- Roofing Certificates (Soprema, Sarnafil, Carlisle, Firestone, Iko, etc.)
- Valid Driver's License.
Experience:
- Supervising: Minimum of 2 year (preferred)
- Roofing: 3 years (required).
This is a full time position, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM. There is occasional overtime on weekdays, as well as weekends, to ensure jobs are completed on time.
