Senior Litigation Lawyer – Personal Injury (Trial & LAT Hearing CAT Matters )
Location: Mississauga, Ontario (Hybrid)
Position: Full-Time
Alam Law Firm is seeking an experienced Senior Personal Injury Litigation Lawyer to join our growing litigation department.
This position is ideal for an accomplished litigator with extensive experience representing catastrophically injured clients before the Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT) and the Superior Court of Justice for Civil Jury Trial.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage complex catastrophic injury litigation files.
- Conduct LAT hearings, motions, discoveries, mediations, pre-trials, arbitrations, and trials.
- Mentor junior lawyers and assist in developing litigation strategies.
- Draft pleadings, legal opinions, motion records, mediation and pre-trial briefs, and appellate materials where required.
- Work closely with the firm's medical, rehabilitation, and litigation teams to maximize client outcomes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
- Extensive experience in Accident Benefits (SABS), Tort litigation, and catastrophic injury claims.
- Proven experience conducting LAT hearings, motions, mediations, pre-trials, and Superior Court trials.
- Exceptional advocacy, negotiation, legal research, and drafting skills.
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
