Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team, committed to promoting optimal nutrition and wellness for diverse resident populations. In this vital role, you will provide expert nutritional guidance, develop menus, personalized care plans, and support residents in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments to evaluate nutritional needs, medical history, and physiological factors.
- Serves as a resource to the Dietary Manager/ Cook
- Performing nutritional assessment and nutritional care planning
- Development and management of the menu rotations ensuring Canada Food Guidelines are met. Revises menus with input from Resident Council and in response to Satisfaction Surveys and Audits as required
- Developing guidelines for the development, preparation and serving of therapeutic diets
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition.
- Current registration or licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
- Preferred minimum 3 years experience in the provision of geriatric care
- Must be able to work independently

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
