Olymbec is looking for a Landscaping Laborer // Snow Removal Worker to join our landscaping and snow removal team. The candidate will participate in various types of landscaping work from spring to fall and will work with the snow removal team during the winter. This position offers a stable opportunity for landscapers or snow removal workers seeking permanent, year-round employment. By joining our team, you will become a key member in maintaining and improving the outdoor spaces of our buildings.
The candidate will carry out work in the commercial and industrial sectors under the responsibility of the Landscaping and Snow Removal Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Spring and autumn:

Mowing the lawn;

Weeding;
-
Maintenance and planting;
-
Ensuring the cleanliness of outdoor spaces;

Paving stones;
-
Other related tasks.
Winter:
- Snow removal (shoveling);
-
Salting walkways and parking areas;
-
Driving trucks and loaders equipped with snow plows or pushers;

Other related tasks.
REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in landscaping and snow removal ;

Experience or specialization in installation or laying of paving stones (an asset);

Valid driver’s license: Class 5 , 1, 3 ;

Ability to endure extreme weather conditions (e.g., heat in summer, cold in winter) ;

Good physical condition ;

Capacity to communicate in French.
