Our client, a major renewable company, is looking for Labourers to join their team on 6-month contracts in Hawkestone, ON.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general construction, maintenance, and operational tasks on-site
- Transport, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Prepare and maintain clean and safe work areas
- Support skilled tradespersons (e.g., electricians, technicians, engineers)
- Operate basic tools and equipment as required
- Follow site-specific instructions and project timelines
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies
- Participate in safety briefings and report hazards or incidents promptly
- Perform routine site inspections and assist with basic maintenance activities
Qualification:
- Previous experience in construction, industrial, or energy project environments preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Understanding of basic site safety practices (training/certification is a plus)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- Good communication skills
Pay: $20.00 per hour
