At Inner Voice Therapy, we are trained to support clients as they navigate the complexities of intercultural identities, manage parental, cultural, and societal expectations, and rediscover their inner voice without the burden of toxic shame or guilt. Our diverse clientele benefits from a range of services provided in multiple languages. HOURS: Minimum 10-12 hours per week including 6-8 hours in person
Availability: You will be scheduling your clients based on your availability. We are looking for weekday evenings and one day over the weekend.
EDUCATION:
This position requires a Master’s degree in Social Work in Ontario. Candidates must be registered with their professional college in Ontario and hold Professional Liability Insurance.
OUR IDEAL APPLICANT:
- We are looking for an experienced couples therapist with strong clinical skills and at least 3 years of post-graduate experience.
- Must be trained in CBT for Depression, Anxiety and/or Trauma.
- Experience working with anxiety, trauma and complex cases is required.
- Experience with providing couples therapy is a bonus
- Working with children and parents.
- Willingness and motivation to engage in ongoing learning through regular training and consultation/supervision.
- A strong desire to develop a successful career and contribute to our team and communities we serve.
- Passionate about providing culturally attuned, client-centred therapy in a supportive, non-judgemental and safe environment.
- Dedicated to maintaining a high standard of practice with required documentation.
- Must speak Hindu or Urdu or Farsi or another language.
- Minimum One-day in-person availability starting June 2025 in Mississauga, Ontario.
