Our Finance team works across multiple entities and currencies — it’s varied, cross-border work with real scope.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day and month-end financial operations, while maintaining the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting process. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated finance professional to take on a high-impact, hands-on role within a fast-growing technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-End & Financial Close
- Lead the monthly close across all Signal entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and divisional allocations, maintaining integrity of the general ledger.
- Perform bank, sub-ledger, and system reconciliations across multiple currencies and platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Partner with operations and sales to validate revenue, asset valuations, and transaction completeness.
Accounts Receivable & Cash Management
- Oversee invoicing, collections, cash application, and customer account reconciliations.
- Drive working capital performance through AR aging analysis and DSO management.
- Monitor daily and forecasted cash positions, proactively identifying liquidity risks.
- Ensure accurate transaction-level revenue, cost, and payment reconciliation within the ERP environment.
Accounts Payable
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable function, including invoice processing, approvals, and payment execution.
- Administer weekly payment cycles and maintain strong vendor relationships through timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate liability reporting through regular AP sub-ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain Ramp as the company’s corporate card and expense management platform.
Intercompany & Multi-Entity Accounting
- Oversee intercompany reconciliation processes across the consolidated group, validating transaction symmetry between entities and maintaining accurate divisional cost allocations.
- Manage multi-currency transaction processing and perform foreign exchange revaluations and reconciliations, ensuring accurate reporting of FX gains and losses at period-end.
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement scalable process improvements and automation opportunities within Business Central, strengthening financial controls and reducing manual processing time.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive accounting SOPs, ensuring the team operates consistently and in accordance with best practices.
Reporting & Systems
- Support the development and maintenance of Power BI financial dashboards and Power Automate workflows, enabling data-driven decision-making across the Finance function.
- Manage month-end close coordination, including bank reconciliations and accurate GL coding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Hands-on ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred
- Experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment
- Strong Excel proficiency — VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables
- Power BI experience is a strong asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a lean team
- CPA designation (in progress or completed) is an asset

Work Environment and Flexibility
Hybrid role based in South Surrey, BC (not transit accessible). Minimum one day in office per week, with flexibility based on your home location and role needs.
Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
