Job Summary
We are seeking a Janitor to maintain cleanliness across our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks and ensuring a hygienic environment for staff and visitors. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper
- Follow safety procedures during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Ensure all work areas are kept organized and free of hazards
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting (up to 20 pounds or emptying buckets of water )
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable with good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all building occupants
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
