Precision Properties Ltd. is looking for an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will perform residential and commercial renovation work and must be able to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of renovation carpentry.
- Frame walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs.
- Install doors, windows, trim, baseboards, and cabinets.
- Repair and replace damaged building components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other building materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Ensure work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
- Keep the worksite clean and organized.
- Work effectively with other trades and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of renovation carpentry experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential renovation techniques.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with framing, finishing, and general carpentry.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with drywall, flooring, siding, and roofing is an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Knowledge of BC building codes.
- WHMIS and First Aid certifications are an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
