Front Desk Receptionist

Fort Richmond Physiotherapy is looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing excellent customer service and patient care.
As the first point of contact for our clinic, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for our patients while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries efficiently
- Manage patient files and maintain accurate and confidential records
- Perform administrative and clerical duties including data entry, scanning, filing, and correspondence
- Assist with billing, payment processing, and insurance verification
- Coordinate scheduling and communication with clinic staff and therapists
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Order office supplies and assist with general office organization as needed
Qualifications
- Previous reception or administrative experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and office equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Friendly, reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Experience in a medical, physiotherapy, or healthcare office is an asset
