Job Title: Rotational Nanny / Housekeeper (Multi-Family Role)
We are seeking a reliable, caring, and organized Nanny / Housekeeper to support an extended family across five closely related households. All homes belong to members of the same family and are located near each other in West Edmonton, AB. This position is based on a rotating schedule, with the caregiver working at one home per day.
Responsibilities:
Childcare:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children (ages vary by household)
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities (indoor and outdoor)
- Support daily routines and maintain a safe, structured environment
Housekeeping:
- Thorough cleaning of living spaces on a regular basis
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors
- Cleaning bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors)
- Kitchen cleaning (surfaces, counters, appliances – no cooking required)
- Laundry, folding, and ironing
- Changing bed linens as needed
- Tidying and organizing rooms, closets, and common areas
- Maintaining overall cleanliness and order of each home
Additional:
- Adapt to each household’s preferences and standards
- Travel between five homes based on a set rotation (one home per day)
Qualifications:
- Experience caring for children of various age groups
- Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience (required)
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Organized, efficient, and able to work independently
- Flexible and comfortable working in different homes
- Trustworthy, dependable, and professional
- CPR/First Aid certification (an asset)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time, (8:00 am - 4:00 pm potentially, negotiable)
- Rotating schedule across five homes (one home per day)
- Competitive pay based on experience
