What You’ll Do
The Building Maintenance & Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the daily upkeep, safety, and functionality of company buildings and workspaces. This role proactively identifies and addresses maintenance issues, completes preventative maintenance, and coordinates repairs and renovations to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
This role includes, but is not limited to, the following:
■ Perform daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual facility inspections and maintenance
■ Maintain washrooms, gym, PDQ areas, water coolers, and common spaces
■ Monitor server rooms, mechanical rooms, thermostats, and temperature controls
■ Complete routine testing and preventative maintenance (e.g., CO₂ detectors, drains, HVAC support)
■ Prepare buildings for seasonal transitions including heating, cooling, and winterization
■ Coordinate inspections, permits, and preventative maintenance programs
■ Repair or replace doors, locks, fixtures, dispensers, toilets, and small mechanical items
■ Maintain lock and key inventory and coordinate locksmith services
■ Paint, install fixtures, and assist with office reconfigurations and minor renovations
■ Coordinate, supervise, and clean up after third‑party contractors
■ Secure buildings and gates and respond to ad‑hoc facility needs
■ Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact operations
■ Take pride of ownership in facility condition, safety, and appearance
■ Work independently while coordinating with internal teams and vendors
■ Such further duties as may be assigned or directed by the Company from time to time.
What You Need to Have
■ Experience in building maintenance, facilities coordination, or a related hands‑on role
■ Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills
■ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
■ Comfortable performing physical tasks and minor repairs
■ Clear communication skills and attention to detail
