Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental hygiene, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using ABELDent or similar dental management software
- Provide support with patient scheduling and follow-up appointments
- Ensure a clean and sterilized environment in compliance with health regulations
- Communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, including pediatric patients and bilingual patients when applicable
Skills
- Proficiency in ABELDent or other dental office management systems
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse patient base
- Experience in dental assisting and understanding of medical terminology
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $38.27-$61.28 per hour
