DelGate Logistics is one of Canada’s fastest-growing tech-enabled 3PL providers specializing in warehousing, big & bulky logistics, white-glove delivery, cross-docking, transloading, and nationwide distribution.
With established operations in Vancouver and Toronto and an aggressive national expansion strategy, DelGate is launching new locations across major Canadian cities every few months.
We are building a scalable, partnership-driven national network — and we are looking for a senior Expansion & Territory Manager to lead this growth.
Position Overview
This role is primarily based at our Vancouver headquarters and works closely with executive leadership.
However, during expansion phases, the successful candidate will travel to new cities across Canada and may stay on-site for extended periods to:
- Secure facilities • Oversee full operational setup • Establish local partnerships • Train new teams • Ensure launch readiness
The National Expansion & Territory Manager owns the full lifecycle of each new market launch — from strategy and setup to revenue activation and major deal closure.
This is a high-impact, leadership-level growth role.
Core Responsibilities1️ Market Entry & Expansion Strategy
- Develop and execute city-by-city expansion strategies
- Conduct feasibility analysis (market demand, competition, pricing, labor availability)
- Identify target verticals and enterprise accounts
- Build revenue projections and structured launch timelines
- Create repeatable expansion playbooks
2️ Warehouse Acquisition & Full Operational Setup
- Identify and negotiate warehouse leases or acquisitions • Design layout, workflow, racking, and operational structure • Oversee procurement and setup of:
– Material handling equipment (forklifts, dock systems, etc.) – Racking & storage systems – Security & IT infrastructure – Office build-out and administrative setup
- Coordinate WMS/DMS system implementation • Travel to new markets to supervise setup • Train local leadership and operational teams • Ensure full operational readiness before launch
3️ 3PL Network & Volume Partnerships
- Establish partnerships with 3PLs in major Canadian cities • Build load-sharing and reciprocal volume agreements • Negotiate pricing structures, SLAs, and margin models • Leverage industry relationships to accelerate expansion • Create a scalable national partnership network
4️ Sales & Revenue Activation
- Collaborate closely with Sales Manager and sales team • Support strategic business development initiatives • Participate in high-level sales meetings and negotiations • Close enterprise-level B2B contracts • Develop structured territory sales strategies • Drive strong revenue performance in newly launched markets
5️ Territory Oversight & Leadership
- Oversee financial performance of each new territory during launch • Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Finance, and IT teams • Monitor profitability, pricing, and service standards • Provide regular progress updates to executive leadership • Standardize launch processes for efficient future expansion
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years experience in logistics, 3PL, freight brokerage, or supply chain leadership
- Proven track record closing mid-to-enterprise-level B2B contracts
- Experience launching or scaling logistics operations preferred
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, freight pricing, and margin management
- Established relationships within Canadian logistics industry
- Experience managing territories or leading sales initiatives
- Strong financial and analytical capabilities
- Exceptional negotiation and leadership skills
- Must be willing to travel across Canada and temporarily relocate during new market launches

Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $80,000–$150,000 CAD
- Commission Structure
- Territory Launch Bonus per new client
