Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinic Nurse specialized in Advanced Therapeutic Medications to join our dedicated healthcare team at the Charlton Centre Brantford!
This vital role involves delivering expert nursing care focused on advanced medication therapies, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and supporting clinical operations within a fast-paced specialty clinic setting. Duties
- Administer advanced therapeutic medications, including biologics, biosimilars, other specialty injections, following established protocols and safety standards.
- Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and physical examinations relevant to therapeutic interventions.
- Prepare patients for infusion therapies while maintaining aseptic techniques and sterile processing standards.
- Monitor patient responses during and after treatments, managing adverse reactions with prompt intervention.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system Accuro EMR in compliance with privacy standards
- Educate patients on medication administration, post-treatment care, and health coaching strategies to promote adherence and wellness.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license (RN) with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to therapeutic nursing practices.
- Experience in diverse clinical settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics
- Ability to effectively perform venipuncture, IV infusion, phlebotomy, and specimen collection efficiently.
- Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to work effectively with individuals across age groups—including pediatrics and geriatrics—and those with disabilities or complex health needs.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic technique essential for maintaining safety during invasive procedures.
- Critical care experience preferred—especially ICU or trauma center exposure—alongside familiarity with trauma medicine or emergency room protocols.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
