As the Commercial Account Manager, you will receive and process all incoming Commercial paperwork. Your responsibilities will include:
Provide customers with prompt service by providing advice:
Helping customers understand insurance and discussing customer concerns
Responding to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining strong client relationships
Assist with quotes to customers, write new business, and maintain existing accounts:
Reviewing existing coverage and updating customer file information
Identifying opportunities to enhance coverage and support client needs
Managing renewals and ensuring accuracy of policy information
Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, and issue insurance certificates:
Processing endorsements, invoicing, and following up on payments
Communicating with insurance companies and negotiating with underwriters on customers’ behalf
Negotiating renewal terms and conditions
Following up with adjusters regarding claims status and updates
Ensuring all documentation and records are completed accurately and efficiently
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
A valid RIBO insurance license or willingness to obtain the same
Industry accreditation such as CAIB or CIP considered an asset
High School diploma and/or Post-Secondary Education
Strong customer service focus and administrative skills
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
Commitment to delivering superior customer service in a competitive industry
The anticipated salary range for this role is $75,000 to $105,000. Candidates with salary expectations outside this range are encouraged to apply.
