About the Role
Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting surgical procedures by managing the movement, accuracy, and readiness of surgical kits (loaner sets).
This is a hands-on, fast-paced logistics role within our Surgical Kits team, where attention to detail and strong coordination skills support operating room readiness, helping procedures run smoothly by ensuring surgical kits are accurate, complete, and ready when needed.
You will be responsible for tracking, preparing, and reconciling orthopaedic surgical instruments and implants as they move between hospitals, sales representatives, and our distribution centre.

How You Will Make and Impact: · Provide professional, responsive support to sales representatives, customers, and internal teams regarding surgical kits, inventory, and procedure requirements.· Coordinate the sourcing, allocation, and management of surgical implants and instrumentation across Ontario.· Manage urgent and time-sensitive surgical bookings, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of procedure requirements.· Maintain accurate records of surgical bookings, procedures, inventory, and related activities within internal systems.· Review surgical schedules to prioritize kit preparation, allocation, and turnaround for upcoming procedures.· Coordinate with internal teams and logistics partners to ensure surgical kits are accurately picked, packed, and shipped on schedule.· Proactively communicate with sales representatives regarding inventory availability, surgical requirements, shipment status, and booking issues.· Contribute to surgical kit-related projects, process improvements, and operational initiatives as assigned.

- Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field an asset
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, or medical device an asset
- Strong attention to detail — you take pride in accuracy and organization

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable using technology and systems (Microsoft Office; ERP/logistics systems are an asset)
- Physically able to lift and move equipment and supplies (up to 50 lbs)

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
