Job Summary
Currently Hiring Certified Dental Assistants with at least 1yr working experience. We are looking for Part-Time ( 2-3 days a week Wednesday evening shift 12-7pm and Saturdays)We are a privately owned general practice with great dental team with a mix of long term and newer employees, we are looking for someone to join our office. Familiar with implants, ortho, iTero/3Shape scanning ideal, CBCT, and Open Dental ideal but not needed. We pride ourselves in taking care of our patients and building repour that is generational. We love to laugh and eat snacks a lot, we do monthly CE Lunch and Learns, PDC and quarterly staff meetings. We have a sterilizing tech on staff to help with room turn around and sterilization of all instruments. We believe in family and understand that family comes first and we work with you to make a schedule that works with your family. We offer free parking, close to transit, uniforms, paid CE/first aid and staff events. This position wage is based on experience and any extra modules. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment for various dental procedures.
- Fully digital office: iTero/3shape scanner, CBCT and Cadi Software for x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using dental software: Open Dental
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the office.
- Support orthodontic Invisalign procedures when necessary, 3Shape digital scanning
- Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure smooth operations of the front office tasks.
- Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a friendly and reassuring environment for young patients.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting practices, including knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Familiarity with Open Dental a plus but not necessary
- Experience in orthodontics is a plus
- Familiarity with intra oral digital scanning: 3Shape
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages, especially children in pediatric settings.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail.
