Overview
First Choice Motors is seeking an experienced and licensed 310S Automotive Technician to join our growing team.
We are a high-volume dealership and repair facility looking for a technician who is confident performing Ontario Safety Standards Inspections, vehicle diagnostics, and advanced mechanical repairs. This position is best suited for an experienced technician who can work independently, accurately diagnose vehicle concerns, and ensure vehicles meet Ontario safety standards.
Unlike many repair facilities, our licensed technicians focus primarily on inspections, diagnostics, safety certifications, and higher-level repair work. Routine maintenance and many basic repairs are handled by our apprentice and support technicians, allowing our licensed technicians to focus on the work that requires their skills and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Ontario Safety Standards Drive-ON Inspections
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Identify repairs required to meet Ontario safety standards
- Complete advanced mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
- Inspect vehicles and prepare repair recommendations
- Verify completed repairs and quality of workmanship
- Maintain accurate inspection and repair documentation
- Assist and support apprentice technicians when required
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician License (Required)
- Experience performing Ontario Safety Standards Drive-ON Inspections
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Valid Ontario Driver's License
- Professional attitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
Hourly wage is based on experience and qualifications.
In addition to hourly pay, technicians participate in our weekly net produced hours productivity bonus program, providing additional earning opportunities based on performance and efficiency.
Only applicants with a valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician License will be considered.
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
