Concrete, Asphalt, Waterproofing & Building Restoration

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Concrete repairs and installation, as well as waterproofing concrete structures.
- Asphalt patching and repairs to ensure the longevity and quality for our clients.
- Vertical crack injections, tar crack sealing, and epoxy-impregnated carbon fiber reinforcement for seismic prevention.
- Building envelope repairs including sealing, restoring, and reinforcing exterior structures.
- Performing mechanical repairs on basic equipment (e.g., cut-off saws, generator carb build-up, fleet vehicle maintenance).
- Operating machinery such as skid steers, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Performing mathematical calculations (e.g., square footage, fractions, ratios, Pythagorean theorem) to ensure accuracy in measurements and material quantities.
- Coordinating with supervisors, subtrades, superintendents, homeowners, and other site contacts to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Performing all duties in a safe and responsible manor, meeting or exceeding WorkSafe BC practices and requirements.
- Potentially travelling for short term out-of-town projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- Some experience in concrete repairs, asphalt patching, or building envelope repairs is ideal, but we’re open to other types of construction experience.
- A healthy aptitude for mechanical repair and basic equipment maintenance (e.g., cut-off saws, generators, basic fleet vehicle maintenance).
- Someone physically fit and ready to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Strong communication skills – you’ll be coordinating with a variety of stakeholders, including supervisors, foremen, subtrades, and homeowners.
- A reliable, team-oriented individual who can also step up and lead when required.
- Math skills are crucial! If you’re comfortable with fractions, ratios, and applying the Pythagorean theorem to angles, you’ll be set up for success.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work – bus service isn’t dependable in our area.
- Bonus points/additional compensation for any additional licenses such as a Restriction 20 weight endorsement on a class 5 , or Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license.
