Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bathtub Refinisher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming worn, damaged, or outdated bathtubs into beautiful, like-new fixtures through expert refinishing techniques. Your work will directly enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential and commercial bathrooms, providing clients with durable, high-quality results. Responsibilities
- Prepare bathtub surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal adhesion of refinishing materials
- Apply primers, coatings, and sealants with precision using spray guns or brushes to achieve smooth, durable finishes
- Repair surface imperfections such as chips, cracks, and stains to restore the bathtub’s appearance and integrity
- Follow detailed schematics and blueprints to accurately execute refinishing projects according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate project timelines and address any concerns
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for surface preparation and finishing tasks
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on refinishing or restoration work is highly preferred
- Knowledge of drywall installation, carpentry, or industrial painting is a plus
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions accurately
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and the use of hand tools and power tools required for surface prep and finishing
- Strong time management skills to complete projects efficiently within scheduled timelines
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing customer service
- Experience with commercial or residential painting projects is advantageous
- Ability to work safely with chemicals, paints, primers, and other hazardous materials in compliance with safety standards
