Tri-Green Landscape Group is seeking a full time year around Landscape Foreperson focusing on Hardscape Installation for Residential Design Build Clients in the Waterloo Region. The Hardscape Foreperson is responsible for leading and coordinating a crew in the installation of hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living features.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and work alongside crew members on hardscape installations
- Plan daily tasks, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress on-site
- Interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Enforce safety procedures and promote a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members
- Troubleshoot on-site challenges and adjust plans as needed
- Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and productivity
- Track job progress, materials usage, and report updates to management
Experience/Skills
- 5-10 years Hardscape Experience
- Experience operating skid steers, excavators, or other machinery
- Familiarity with grading, drainage, and base preparation
- Certification in landscaping or construction (an asset)
