What You’ll Do
- Identify and win new business with mining companies, OEMs, and equipment dealers
- Develop and close long-cycle service agreements, including preferred service partnerships and embedded technician models
- Expand Levitt-Safety’s footprint in accounts where we have limited or no service presence
- Lead major proposals and bids, collaborating with internal subject matter experts
- Build and manage a strong pipeline using CRM tools (Salesforce)
- Partner with regional sales and service teams to grow both service and product opportunities
- Deliver value through audits, training, and operational insights to position Levitt-Safety as a trusted advisor
- Stay current on mining industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Represent Levitt-Safety at industry events, trade shows, and customer sites
What Success Looks Like
Within 6–12 months:
- Convert pipeline into signed service agreements
- Increase service penetration within key accounts
- Demonstrate measurable revenue growth
Within 12–18 months:
- Secure multi-site or fleet-wide agreements
- Establish repeatable account strategies
- Become a recognized expert and trusted partner in the mining sector
What You Bring
- Experience selling into the mining industry (required)
- Background in heavy equipment, industrial services, or safety solutions (preferred)
- Strong business development and “hunter” mindset
- Ability to manage long, complex sales cycles
- Mechanical/technical aptitude and understanding of industrial operations
- Experience working with maintenance, engineering, and safety teams
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Willingness to travel extensively to remote sites
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset for Eastern Canada
Work Environment & Travel
This role involves frequent travel to remote mining sites across Canada, including both surface and underground operations. You’ll be expected to:
- Meet all site safety requirements (including certifications and testing)
- Work in challenging environments and weather conditions
- Follow strict safety protocols and use appropriate PPE
- Conduct site visits, equipment assessments, and audits
