Role Overview: This is a physically active, hands-on role. The Assistant supports the Manager in the manufacturing, pressing, and packing of Cheese They are the frontline defenders of food safety.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing Support:
- Pressing & Cutting
- Packaging
- Sanitation
- Material Handling: Move heavy milk crates, bags of curd, and finished pallets (must be able to lift 25–50 lbs).
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food factory is a major plus.
- Reliability: High attention to detail—small mistakes in dairy can lead to big waste.
- Attributes: Ability to stand for long periods in a wet/refrigerated environment.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
