Lido Bistro is seeking cooks for our season starting immediately. We are looking for cooks that are passionate about their craft, reliable, have high attention to detail and a good work ethic.
A little about us, Lido is an open kitchen located at the waterfront with a rotating specials sheet. Our menu is a mix of international fusion including but not limited to, pizzas, tacos, sandwiches, and bar snacks. We are a very weather dependent location so poor weather will bring slower days but nice sunny days are very busy. We encourage creativity and everyone's opinion is valued. This is a job where everyone in the kitchen (including the chef) does everything, such as dishwashing, food prep and line cooking.
We work with local farms, butchers and suppliers to bring in local proteins and produce as much as we can. Our food program is unpretentious with a heavy focus on plating and technique. We also practice with different fermentations and preservations to create new and interesting dishes.
We need workers that can work quickly and accurately with a drive for continual improvement every day.
The pay is $20-22 per hour plus $3-6 an hour in tips.
