Veterinary Technician Assistant (TA) – West Springs Veterinary Hospital
West Springs Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Technician Assistant (TA) to join our growing team in our brand-new 5,000 sq. ft. facility.
We are a fast-paced clinic offering urgent care, general practice, and advanced surgical services, and we’re looking for a motivated, team-oriented individual who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about patient care and building client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Support RVTs and DVMs with patient care and treatments
- Assist with patient restraint, handling, and comfort
- Prepare and maintain treatment and surgical areas
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain equipment
- Assist with radiology, lab work, and sample collection
- Support reception with answering phone calls, responding to PetDesk messages etc
- Ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the clinic
- Communicate effectively with the team to support workflow and patient care
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic required
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
- Comfortable communicating with clients
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Excellent communication skills
