Flashback Breakfast & Lunch is a busy, retro-style breakfast & lunch restaurant Opening in Angus , Ontario. We are a fast-paced and growing establishment looking for a full-time or part-time Kitchen Staff/Cook to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast items (eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, French toast, breakfast meats, etc.) in a timely and consistent manner
- Assist with food preparation including chopping, portioning, and meal assembly
- Ensure all meals meet presentation and quality standards before serving
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation at all times
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and stocked throughout shifts
- Work closely with serving staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly
- Follow all restaurant policies regarding safety, cleanliness, and food safety regulations.
Requirements & Experience
- Previous breakfast cooking experience is required
- Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and timing
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Organized, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Passion for delivering high-quality food and maintaining clean workspaces
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
