Tandem Physiotherapy & Wellness is looking for a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to join our growing multidisciplinary clinic in London, Ontario. We are seeking an individual who is professional, organized, patient-focused, and passionate about helping people improve their health and recovery outcomes.
As a PTA, you will work closely with our physiotherapists and healthcare team to assist with treatment implementation, patient support, clinic flow, and administrative tasks when needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists with patient treatment plans and exercise programs
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and modalities
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and equipment
- Monitor patient progress and report concerns to the treating therapist
- Maintain accurate and organized patient documentation
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming clinic environment
- Support front desk operations including scheduling and patient communication when required
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience
Qualifications
- PTA/OTA diploma/ certificate (Mandatory)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary clinic
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with exercise instruction or rehabilitation settings is an asset
- Front desk or customer service experience is considered an asset
