Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic in-person Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. Priority will be given to math and french tutors. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts, foster confidence, and develop effective learning strategies.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions primarily focused on Math concepts and skills
- Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and academic level
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Support students in improving problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Incorporate educational technology and computer tools to enhance learning experiences
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that motivates students to engage actively in their learning process
Experience
- Prior experience working with students in an educational or tutoring setting is preferred
- Strong background in Math, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively
- Classroom experience or familiarity with special education strategies is advantageous
- Knowledge of teaching methodologies and curriculum development for diverse learners
Pay: From $67.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1.0 – 20.0 per week
